I love chiffon. It's light and airy. Pretty and delicate. There are so many ways it can be worn, whether it's dressed up for a night out or draped over a swimsuit on spring break.
I just scooped up these basics from F21. They were a great deal and I didn't want to miss my chance before they were sold out. These are the perfect option to wear when going out with friends because I don't feel guilty when I ruin it on the first wear. I'm still in my neutrals phase as you can tell, but the patterns spice it up a bit, don't you think?
Here's some inspiration I found while browing pinterest and tumblr:

tucked into a sequin skirt
contrast an oversized blouse with black jeggings
keep it classic with blacks and whites
wear with colored lace for date night
balance out "look at me" red trouser pants
work appropriate with a tweed skirt
tough and feminine when paired with leather shorts
brighten it up for spring and summer
dress down with denim cut-offs
or decorate with gold accessories

I love chiffon shirts, they are perfect for spring and summer! I especially like the sheer shirts with sequins :)

There is some great inspiration there, thank you :) I can't do chiffon without a tank top underneath though!
ReplyDeleteI love the sheer stripy top. Sheer shirts in general- such a feminine but smart look.
ReplyDeleteI'm now following xx
@Fortifyyourself oh, i can't do chiffon without a cami either! i have a wide assortment of colors to layer underneath :)
ReplyDeleteHey there,
ReplyDeleteI love your blog! This post is great - the only issue I have with chiffon is that it's sheer and I hate wearing a tank top underneath. It's hard to do that without feeling like you're wearing 100 layers and so uncomfortable!
Anyway,
Keep blogging, I'm loving your stuff so far.
xx
