This latest trend reminds me of the Fruit Stripe gum I used to eat in elementary school. It didn't even taste that good, the flavor wore away after a few seconds. I bought it anyway, because it looked cool and it came with "tattoos" on the wrappers. However, wearing these candy-color stripes on your clothing is most definitely an upgrade from wearing a smear of candy dye "tattooed" on your forearm.
